Role summary

The Calmer Client Manager supports the development of our brand through nurturing client relationships, partnerships and business development. This involves collaboration with existing clients and partners, as well as developing new relationships. They are responsible for communicating with clients, ensuring happiness with our services, and building a relationship with individuals to better meet their needs. They work with the Calmer team to lead streamlined services and support clients to develop their goals.

As with the rest of the Calmer team, the ideal candidate will have a strong interest in mental health, wellbeing and mindfulness.

Job type

  • This is a part-time, flexible, remote working role, with regular team meetings via video calls and optional in-person meet-ups at varying times throughout the year.

  • This role is expected to be carried out on a freelance basis, starting at 3-5 days per month (average 1 day per week with flexible hours), with the potential to increase as the business grows.

Job requirements

  • A solid understanding of the relationships required to build, grow and sustain a brand within the market place.

  • A good understanding of the mental health and wellbeing industry, with strong capability to research, source and manage clients and partnerships to suit Calmer’s requirements.

Job duties

  • Undertake targeted research to establish a connection with, and to pitch to new leads.

  • Identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within Calmer’s client base and work with the Calmer team to ensure these opportunities are pro-actively followed through.

  • Encourage customer feedback and participation through events, strategy sessions and webinars.

  • Develop client case studies, success stories and references.

  • Develop expertise on industry and client best practices and trends.

  • Research, via digital and in-person connections, SME’s and co-working spaces, raising awareness of the Calmer offering and values with the aim of developing longer-term relationships.

  • Increase collaboration with existing clients and partners to spread the Calmer brand and values wider, via targeted campaigns and events.
