How to Silence Your Inner Critic

Join Calmer & special guest Maria Hicks this Mental Health Awareness Week to reconnect to your true nature and minimise the critic within.

In support of our community this Mental Health Awareness Week (May 10-16, 2021), the Calmer team invites you to a special edition of their monthly mindfulness workshops on the theme of reconnecting to your true nature and turning down the volume of your inner critic.

Following a grounding nature-inspired guided mindfulness exercise in honour of this MHA week’s theme, special guest Maria Hicks - an NLP Practitioner, Coach and founder of Start Again Coaching - will help you understand more about how negative thinking patterns hold you back from your true potential, as well as practical steps you can take to silence your inner critic.

During the session, you will:

Learn to understand the relationship between self-talk and your mental state

Explore ways to reframe your thinking into a more positive framework

Receive an unusual gift

Participants will leave feeling more confident about how to minimise negative self-talk and make more empowered choices about one’s mindset. You will also have a greater understanding of how your unconscious mind can be affected by your thoughts and outlook.
