Has burnout culture led to The Great Resignation?

To mark World Mental Health Day, join a range of experts for a special event exploring the link between burnout culture and resignation.

About this event

The pandemic has brought about so much change in our everyday lives, and the way many of us work has irreversibly changed as a result. From new working environments to flexible working hours, people around the globe have had to adapt their routine over the last 18 months. But how has this affected the way we value our jobs?

According to a recent study by Personio, 38% of employees in the UK and Ireland plan to quit their jobs within the next six months to a year, and it’s predicted that this is due to lockdown forcing a change in our values and priorities. This shift in behaviour has been dubbed The Great Resignation.

With businesses facing a costly talent exodus, it’s important to consider that unhappiness, job dissatisfaction and even burnout may be a contributing factor. Our event will explore these insights and highlight what we can do to not only manage burnout but also to prevent it – from an individual and business perspective.

To mark World Mental Health Day 2021, Calmer's founder Tania Diggory will host a special panel discussion alongside Journalist Maria Cohut, Business Coach Tomorr Kokona, and HR Consultant Emma Harvey. We will explore:

· Has burnout culture led to The Great Resignation?

· How to navigate burnout

· How can you prevent The Great Resignation in your company?

· Ways to realign towards your true purpose
