This term is an updated version of work/life balance, which many mental health experts and organisations are pioneering to recognise the increasingly indistinguishable nature of work and life.
In this day and age, the phrase "work/life balance" could imply that you have work on one hand and the rest of your life on the other - which may, in essence, not sound that balanced. Instead, alignment instead recognises how times have changed, particularly due to technology and the pandemic, and how so many aspects of our lives now align, blend and mesh together. We want to help you to find your own sense of balance in life.
Join us for an expert-led workshop to discover a work/life alignment that suits you. During the event, we’ll explore what simple, actionable steps you can take to nurture balance in your life, ensuring you preserve your energy for your work, relationships, leisure time, mental and physical health, and everything else you value in your life.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn from Calmer practitioners as well as engage in expert-led exercises, to help enhance your own work/life alignment. We will share practises for reflecting on your existing work commitments and identifying your priorities in life. We will discuss practical actionable steps you can implement straight away, as well as Mindfulness and breathwork techniques that aim to reduce stress, prevent burnout and nurture your mental resilience, allowing for a greater sense of ease in your days.
This session is open to entrepreneurs, freelancers and all staff, managers and senior leaders in business teams.
